Help the Refuge

The Exotic Pet Refuge can only survive from help from the public - we receive no government funding, and need over £50,000 a year to survive as we are now! We are also always looking to expand so that we can care for more and more animals.

If you feel that you would like to help the refuge, then there are many ways in which you can do so:

• Making a donation
  You can now donate via text - Just text TEPR11 £X to 70070, where X with the amount you want to donate between 1 and 10 pounds.
• Sponsor an animal
• Holding a fund raising event
• Having a party or event at the refuge
• Donating food (e.g. dried / tinned dog or cat food, poultry or bird seed, fruits and nuts etc.), building materials or other useful items
• Working for the refuge as a volunteer

All the animals at the Exotic Pet Refuge need to be stimulated - enrichment is a daily activity that the staff and volunteers provide for the animals and we need your help with resources. Can you donate or provide funds for the following items?

• Hessian bags
• Strong plastic tubs in all sizes
• Wellington boots
• Footballs, tennis balls, rugby balls, basket balls
• Large plastic pipes/drain pipes
• Hanging baskets (metal)
• Rope in all sizes
• Cable ties
• Towels
• Round wooden blocks or round wooden posts
